Motorbike Navigation

We've all been there. Where? Lost, of course. Nothing can beat a trusty map to help you find where you need to go, whether it be the old, trusty paper map or the new, computerised satellite navigation systems.

Dutch company, TomTom, is synonymous with Sat Nav, because of their pure quality and range of products to suit you. Made especially for the biker is the TomTom Rider V2, which comes complete with RAM mounting kit and Scala bluetooth headset. This allows you to mount the device onto a cradle fixed upon the handlebars and the headset can be securely fixed to the helmet so you can hear the navigation instructions. I personally own one of these, and i can honestly say it is one of the greatest things ever made for us bikers. With a whole range of maps to choose from, such as UK and Eire and Western Europe, you can ensure you don't get lost again.

Halfords have many offers on Sat Navs and stock the Garmin Zumo as well as the Garmin XL and Navman range and accessories.

Garmin
Garmin is another large name in the Satellite Navigation industry and its Zumo models are made by bikers for bikers, with Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free calling and navigation. The units are enclosed within a rugged waterproof casing and have a glove friendly interface, to make using it on the road much easier. Some of the models even allow MP3's to be stored on the device, so you can listen to your fave tunes whilst you ride.
